Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for the PAC-3 CLS program, based in Arlington, TX. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the highest quality of manufactured and procured products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for ensuring contractual quality requirements are met, and interfacing with sites daily to verify implementation. You will also participate in failure diagnosis, Material Review Board activities, and provide technical liaison support related to quality engineering matters, driving solutions to complex problems and continual improvement practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring contractual quality requirements are implemented and verified
-Participating in failure diagnosis, Material Review Board activities, and dispositioning non-conforming hardware
-Interpreting engineering requirements and specifications to evaluate acceptance of quality products
-Providing technical liaison support and identifying solutions to complex problems
-Driving strategies for optimal business methods and practices to strengthen the Quality Management System
-Supporting the Integrated Product Team with quality data reviews and performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Strong understanding of engineering requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods - ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related Performance Metrics.
• Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (Material Review Board).
• Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems utilizing causal analysis tools.
• Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Quality Management, Program Management, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Government Representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the capability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Desired Skills:
• STEM degree at Bachelors level or higher preferred.
• High energy, self-starting, team player who achieves goals. Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues.
• A basic understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems.
• Experience with government customers.
• Experience with hardware inspections.
• Experience with AS9100, AS9102, J-STD-001, and IPC-610 interpretation and application experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
