Our team drives the Evolutionary Development effort for Lockheed Martin’s critical Air and Missile Defense programs, partnering directly with program managers, engineers, supplier quality, and subcontractor leadership to secure producible, cost‑effective solutions early in the design cycle.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all subcontract activities that support a major corporate‑focus development effort. • Managing the full life cycle of subcontracts — drafting, negotiating, awarding, and closing out agreements.
• Conducting subcontract administration and procurement tasks, including purchase order creation, change order processing, and invoice reconciliation.
• Collaborating with program managers, engineers, and supplier quality to identify and resolve technical and schedule risks early in the design phase.
• Monitoring subcontractor performance against contract terms, milestones, and key performance indicators.
• Leading risk assessments, developing mitigation plans, and driving corrective actions when needed.
• Maintaining accurate records in the GSC system and ensuring compliance with corporate policies, FAR/DFARS, and export control regulations.
• Preparing status reports, dashboards, and executive briefings for senior leadership and customer stakeholders.
• Facilitating continuous improvement initiatives to enhance subcontracting processes and reduce cost, schedule, and quality variances.

Why Join Us
