Responsibilities
Description:In this role, you will:
1. Provide rotating shift support for a team of 7 Defensive Cyber Engineers working a 24/7 operation.
2. Provide systems and architecture expertise for Defensive Cyber Operations to meet Cybersecurity mission execution on SBIRS operational assets.
3. Assist Defensive Cyberspace Operations and Mission Defense Team in the identification, containment, and response to cyber incidents.
4. Evaluate and analyze system architecture and security design as they pertain to the Cyber domain.
5. Apply Cyber Security Engineering to improve the processing, configuration, transport, and usability of Cyber Security data used for analysis.
6. Provide configuration and audit support to LogRhythm and other deployed security tools.
7. Support peer reviews of policies and guidance as they relate to the DCO mission.
8. Support working group meetings with the customer, as well as weekly briefs of DCE activities.
9. Have frequent collaboration with customer stakeholders as well as working closely with site personnel.
10. Assist in cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions.
11. Coordinate with Cyber, System Architects and Developers to provide support to the development of security solutions.
12. Employ cyber security methods, techniques, tools, and capabilities.
13. This is for a Mission Essential role requiring potential holiday commitments if assigned and/or on call. This position is on a floating holiday schedule and located at a government facility requiring employees without a security clearance to be escorted.
14. Willing to work a rotating shift schedule as required (shift premium).
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of related cyber professional experience
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience with responding to cyber incidents from detection through remediation
• Experience with SIEM technologies such as LogRhythm or Splunk
• TS/SCI clearance
• DoD 8140 (formerly 8570 IAT II) Certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years related professional experience, or relevant Master's degree
• Strong teamwork skillset
• Demonstrable knowledge of cyber concepts, penetration testing methods, vulnerabilities, information assurance, and security methodology
• Administrative experience with Linux and/or Windows systems
• Experience with NetBrain, Zenoss and Hewlett Packard Network Automation (HPNA)
• Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures
• Ability to translate/brief complex cyber security principles to all levels of knowledge and skill
• Experience with IAVM patching
• Experience using Security Center/ACAS – Assured Compliance Assessment Solution

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Rotating 40 hour week as assigned by leader
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $79,700 - $140,530. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
