Job Responsibilities
Description:You will be the Environmental, Safety and Health Engineering Senior Manager for the MFC Camden, AR site and will be responsible for all ESH matters at Camden Operations. This position reports into the Camden Site Director with dotted line reporting to the ESH Regional Senior Manager, and will manage a staff of ESH professionals and a range of professional consulting vendors. Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures, and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA, and dozens of foreign allies.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Environmental, Safety and Health Engineering Senior Manager, you will be responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements from multiple agencies including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), state and local environmental and health regulatory compliance, and multi-functional program support with medical and worker compensation groups. Responsibilities include:
• Effectively lead a team of ESH professionals to continuously improve and sustain outstanding ESH performance through support, customer service, accountability, and engagement
• As a member of the Camden Sr Staff, assure awareness, consistent communications and guidance to team members.
• Coordinate the ESH management system integration across all functions and organizations
• Manage, assess, respond and develop strategies to assure performance metrics and improvements are in line with expectations and mission success
• Coordination and consistent deployment of strategy, customer service and compliance initiatives
• Prepare and execute capital, operational and financial plans
• Provide leadership, direction, and integration of the ESH functions and programs to include compliance, risk management, business life cycles, social / environmental sustainment and government regulatory, corporate and business requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, etc or 10 years combined/equivalent experience with the manufacture, storage, and regulation of explosives, industrial safety compliance and/or environmental compliance.
• Proven ability to lead a team of ESH professionals to achieve results and drive improvement to the mission success of operations.
• Proven success in sustainable initiatives that engage the workforce in ESH improvements and compliance/conformance.
• Extensive background in Management Systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, OSHA VPP, etc.)
• Experience performing environmental, safety and health work in an industrial environment with labs, manufacturing, and office space.
• Proven project and program management skills
• Proven communication/presentation (written and oral) and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of management, workforce representatives, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience with cost control and budgeting responsibility.
• This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field of study such as Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, etc.
• Professional credentials such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Professional Engineer (PE), or other related industry recognized designation.
• Extensive leadership experience directly managing a professional team (minimum 5 years.)
• Experience with the manufacture, storage, and regulation of explosives
• Experience managing explosive safety site planning
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Experience in lean/six sigma processes and a certification as a Black or Green Belt.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
