Senior Systems Engineer responsible for development, and integration of Systems artifacts for first of class COLUMBIA/Dreadnought Submarines under the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Common Missile Compartment (CMC) Program.

The successful candidate will employ Systems of Systems Thinking to Systems Engineering products capturing the successful integration or hardware products for the Special Test Vehicle (STV) and for Missile System Verification efforts. The successful candidate will work within a project team to resolve technical issues and ensure that Systems Engineering products meet the criteria for closure of action items for both Missile System Verification and those evolving from the build, integration, and test of STVs. Hardware coordination with key stakeholders to deploy hardware for assembly and integration, negotiating completion of the technical solution that meets CMC requirements for the mission of the simulator assemblies are critical to mission success.

This role does not automatically include a Relocation Package.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Systems of Systems Integration/Coordination support to Integrated Project Team (IPT) for the update of baseline artifacts to meet project mile stones.
• Experience supporting Coordination Working Groups, Coordination meetings and Systems meetings.
• Experience supporting the development of Coordination Drawings.
• Experience adjudicating and resolving action items to ensure successful completion of project/program need.
• Experience as main point of contact for coordination of technical information into and out of Lockheed Martin for customers and other stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Experience with developing products for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program
• Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate
• Electrical engineering or Mechanical engineering experience
• Experience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)
• Experience with Agile Project Management
• Experience as a Scrum Master
• Experience with System Modeling tools (Cameo)
• Experience with Model-based Verification
• Experience applying architecture frameworks (DODAF, ABD, Harmony, etc.)
• Experience with Object-Oriented Systems Engineering Method (OOSEM)
• Object Management Group (OMG) Certified System Modeling Professional (OCSMP) certification
• Review, and approval for changes such as Proposed Notice of Changes (PNOCs)
• Experience with software development (Python, MATLAB, or similar script programming)
• Experience with analysis/simulation development and integration
• Experience with Agile Project Management (Jira)
• Experience with Analog Circuit Design & Analysis
• Familiarity with Digital & Analog Filter Design
• Familiarity with IRIG 106 Chapter 10 Telemetry Standard
• Familiarity with RF Path Link Analysis
• Familiarity with Fault Tree or Fishbone Analysis
• Experience with design to configuration managed customer requirements
• Experience reporting project progress, issues, and create solutions to leadership
• Experience developing and documenting processes
• Experience with test planning, execution, and test automation
• Experience with process development and deployment
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Active DoD clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
