What does this role look like?

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to join our Global Supply Chain (GSC) Operations team as the Ramp-to-Rate Supplier Capacity Evaluation Lead. This role is responsible for developing and implementing the operating model and standard work for supplier capacity assessments, optimizing supply chain capacity processes, and coordinating the evaluation of supplier capacity. The successful candidate will also develop and execute strategies to improve supplier performance, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate supplier-related risks. Additionally, they will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage internal stakeholder relationships, and analyze data to inform decision-making. This will enable the delivery of our strategic commitments to customers across Space Lines of Business (LOBs) and support the success of programs as we experience a significant ramp-up in production.

As a seasoned Supply Chain Subcontract Program Manager, you will lead the evaluation of supplier capacity to meet current and future demand, utilizing a range of methods including surveys, on-site supplier visits, and advanced modeling techniques. You will leverage your expertise in supply chain management to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to mitigate risks, using our 1LMX Risk-Based Assessment Tool and Risk and Opportunity Assessment Database (ROADs). Your goal will be to ensure that our suppliers have the necessary capacity to meet our production requirements, while also identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities.



In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the operating model and standard work for supplier capacity assessments to ensure efficient and effective evaluation of supplier capacity.
• Lead the implementation and optimization of supply chain capacity processes, procedures, and metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop capacity evaluation plans for Ramp-up programs, new entrants, and new technology suppliers, such as NGI, FBM, and Golden Dome.
• Track and manage program funding and resources needed to complete capacity assessments for a given program.
• Coordinate the evaluation of supplier capacity through various methods, including surveys, supplier visits, and modeling.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve supplier performance, including monitoring supplier performance, conducting regular business reviews, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, including performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, using 1LMX Risk-Based Assessment Tool and ROADs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including program management, engineering, and manufacturing teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of operational standard work.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, procurement, Project Management, or a related field, with a focus on operations and cost reduction.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and to manage supplier performance.
• Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate supplier-related risks, including supply chain disruptions.
• Process Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance supplier performance and reduce costs.
• Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business operations, finance, and strategy.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with 1LMX Risk-Based Assessment Tool and ROADs, or similar risk assessment tools and methodologies, as well as knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and AS9100.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $141,300 - $244,835.
