Description:The Aeronautics Data Team within the Data & AI Enablement organization is responsible for accelerating business outcomes through data, analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation capabilities. The team partners closely with business and technology organizations to deliver scalable solutions that improve operational performance, enable data-driven decision making, and drive innovation across Aeronautics.
As part of this mission, the Operational Intelligence Platform (OIP) team is building ontology-driven capabilities that connect enterprise data, business processes, AI/ML, and agentic automation to create reusable operational intelligence solutions that scale across the enterprise.
Position Overview
The EBDT Aeronautics Data Team within the Data & AI Enablement organization is seeking a Manager, Operational Intelligence Platform (OIP) Delivery to lead the strategy, governance, and delivery oversight of Operational Intelligence Platform capabilities supporting the Aeronautics business area.
This leader will partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities, shape operational intelligence use cases, and drive delivery of solutions leveraging data, AI/ML, applications, and semantic technologies. The role is responsible for developing reusable data products, advancing ontology capabilities, establishing delivery standards, and enabling scalable adoption of OIP solutions across the enterprise.
Working through Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Project Leads, and Project Manager, the Manager, OIP Delivery will provide strategic direction, resource alignment, and capability leadership to deliver measurable business outcomes while advancing the organization's operational intelligence maturity.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the intake, prioritization, roadmap development, and governance of Operational Intelligence Platform (OIP) initiatives.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to identify opportunities and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Oversee execution across OIP initiatives by providing strategic direction, delivery oversight, and resource alignment.
• Develop reusable data products, ontology capabilities, standards, reference architectures, and delivery playbooks that enable enterprise scale and reuse.
• Manage budgets, staffing strategies, and ontology development resources while coaching teams and advancing OIP capability maturity.
Ability to travel Up to 25% to LM sites if needed.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading large-scale technology, data, analytics, AI/ML, application development, or digital transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams delivering complex business and technology solutions.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive adoption.
• Experience managing budgets, staffing plans, resource allocation, and delivery execution.
• Experience developing scalable capabilities through standards, reference architectures, reusable implementation patterns, or delivery frameworks.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
