Overview of the Flight Test Operations Team: This position is within the Flight Test Operations team, a part of the Test and Evaluation organization. The Flight Test Operations team is responsible for Flight Test Project Management from the start of a program, to performing modifications with Flight Test Control Engineers, all the way to developing and executing Flight Test Plans with our Flight Test Engineers. We are a dynamic team that values collaboration, communication, and innovation.
Job Summary: The successful candidate for the Flight Test Operations CAM will be responsible for all Earned Value Management System (EVMS) activities within this team. The candidate will also be responsible for the cost and schedule performance reporting throughout the lifecycle of the program. This individual will monitor execution of all authorized tasks, identify and resolve performance issues related to earned value, and ensure the completion of contract requirements across multiple projects, concurrently. The successful candidate will work closely with the program management team, functional organizations, and customers to ensure effective cost and schedule management, as well as compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and control large, complex control accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and resource plans for assigned control accounts
• Coordinate with functional organizations to ensure accurate and timely execution of work packages
• Monitor and report on cost and schedule performance, identifying and mitigating risks and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with program management team to develop and implement corrective actions to address cost and schedule variances
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Participate in program meetings and audits, providing expert advice and guidance on cost and schedule management
• Mentor and train junior CAMs and other team members on cost and schedule management best practices
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cost and schedule management
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting, financial management, or a related field, with a focus on government contracting and Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Proven experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of EVM principles and practices
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
• Experience with process improvement and implementation of cost and schedule management best practices
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin's financial and accounting systems, policies, and procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
