Description:

You will be the F-22 Digital Engineering Lead for the F-22 Product Integration Team (PIT). The PIT coordinates and ensures overall technical execution for F-22 Weapon System releases.

What You Will Be Doing
As the F-22 Digital Engineering Lead you will be responsible leading the transition of on-premises infrastructure to the cloud, architecting efficient and powerful cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will also be responsible for architecture, implementation, and maintenance of the digital pipelines used for design, development, build, and delivery of the F-22’s products. Some travel will be required. Your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing current on-premises infrastructure and develop a comprehensive migration strategy to the AWS cloud
• Driving “extreme teaming” with hardware, flight test, and systems engineer groups to ensure seamless integration of cloud and on premises solutions.
• Designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and secure AWS architectures to support our engineering development needs
• Optimizing cloud resource utilization and costs by leveraging AWS services and best practices
• Building end to end CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) that incorporate automated static analysis, unit testing, scanning, and continuous delivery
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment using AWS tools and services
• Ensuring seamless integration between cloud and on-premises systems
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address requirements and challenges
• Providing technical direction for DevSecOps and Cloud adoption to the larger engineering team (DSO, SW, cyber, partners, and contractors)
• Mentoring and guiding junior staff on modern cloud, container, and serverless technologies.
• Understanding and engineering to budget and schedule
• Influencing platform wide funding for digital transformation initiatives.
• Producing architectural and cost benefit analyses for leadership and customer briefings
• Participating in proposal development, BOE creation, and cost estimate reviews
• Serving as the primary liaison for internal and external customers on digital engineering matters
• Conducting executive briefings and status reports to senior leadership and customers

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• AWS services experience
• Expertise in cloud security, networking, and cost optimization
• DevOps practices and tools experience
• Leading a team through technological transformation experience
Desired Skills:
• Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex AWS architectures
• Proven experience as a Senior AWS Architect, with a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and AWS services
• Knowledgeable of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation; Continuous integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD) - tool chains (pipelines) that automate the process of configuration management, unit testing, static analysis, etc.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certifications
• Experience in transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based infrastructure
• Familiarity with DoD requirements and experience in DoD environments
• Experience in bridging cloud and on-premises factory/physical infrastructure
• Understanding of cloud security, networking, cost optimization, and compliance (DFARS 252.204 7012, RMF, NIST 800 53).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Results oriented mindset with a focus on automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
