What You Will Be Doing
As an Items Analyst, you will lead and coordinate supply operations and logistics efforts that span the entire sustainment lifecycle—from sales order placement to final delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of kit and items management, supply chain execution, and performance monitoring within a dynamic aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of kit integration and delivery, including cost, schedule, and technical performance for assigned Change Requests (CRs)
- Coordinate and track Sales Order execution in SAP from initial placement through Kit Accumulation, DD250 processing, and delivery
- Conduct supply and demand analysis, support demand forecasting, and evaluate inventory and configuration management needs
- Support engineering and field design changes (Change Requests) and ensure alignment with kit contents and customer expectations
- Monitor contract execution and ensure compliance with requirements, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
- Analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and sustainment data to inform leadership decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and program teams to resolve issues and mitigate risks
- Support proposal development, cost estimates, and future sustainment planning initiatives
- Identify risks to kit delivery and implement effective mitigation strategies across functional support areas

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen. This position will require obtaining a DoD government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 2 years of related experience OR 5 years experience in absence of a bachelors degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
-Experience with supply and logistics support systems. Items management or kit management experience
Desired Skills:
-Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience with items management or kit management.
-Previous experience with F-35 program portfolio.
-Excellent verbal, written and telecommuting communication skills. Good presentation skills is a plus.
- Ability to work well with a team or individually.
- -Ability to perform in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced and multi-priority business environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
