What you will be doing
• What is a DOMMS Specialist ? A position that requires critical problem solving skills, fluid communication, and attention to details. As a DOMMS Specialist it is a must to understand flight line maintenance and a flight line environment. DOMMS Specialist are ALIS system Subject Matter Experts (SME(s)), also fill in gaps as needed.
• As a DOMMS Specialist your expertise will be leveraged to troubleshoot issues, optimize maintenance procedures, and provide training and support to other team members. If you possess a strong foundation in aviation maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment, this role may be an ideal fit for you.
• Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment, and facilities engineering, material management, and process reengineering.
• The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.
• Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.
• Weekend support required.
• Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with all aspects of an aircraft documentation system
• ALIS experience
• Experience in a flight line, production, &/or manufacturing environment.
•Advanced level knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Skills:
• ALIS/DOMMS Knowledge
• Ability to develop and brief presentation material.
• Experience with military service operations and customers
• Integrating across multiple IPTs including Engineering, Production Operations, Quality, Configuration Management and Integrated Data Solutions (IDS).
• Strong ability to analyze and resolve problems of varying complexity, as presented by Delivery Operations - Production.
• Experience applying Plan, Do, Check, Adjust (PDCA) (LEAN) principles.
• Experience (field or at ALGS level) working with ALIS suite.
• Knowledgeable of SCM - ALIS and Configuration Management.
• Knowledgeable of courseware development and creating training guides for end user(s) use.
• Understanding database development, data mining, and/or data analysis.
• Self-directed problem solver.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
