Join a team that keeps our aircraft production lines moving and mission-ready. As a Sr. Manufacturing Support Team Member (Level 3), you’ll play a critical role in supporting production, driving process excellence, and collaborating across multiple functions in a dynamic flight line environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with operations while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact quality, cost, and schedule performance.

What You’ll Do

Support production operations by coordinating across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality to keep workflow on schedule.

Partner with cross-functional teams in areas such as production planning, total quality management, material management, equipment/facilities support, and process reengineering.

Drive efficiency and problem resolution in a fast-paced flight line environment, ensuring smooth execution of critical build and delivery milestones.

Facilitate and support self-directed work teams; provide training and mentorship in core skill areas to strengthen team capabilities.

Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers, addressing product planning, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Apply your experience in manufacturing operations to identify opportunities for lean improvements and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

Background in production support, planning, or related manufacturing operations.

Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.

Experience in one or more areas of manufacturing operations (planning, quality, materials, engineering support).

U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Flight Line &/or Manufacturing/Production Operations

• Ability to prioritize tasks; operate efficiently in a demanding environment.

• Experience leading/managing projects

• Experience with MS Office suite, including MS Project

•Ability to obtain and maintain special program access per business requirements

•Aero Industry experience
Desired Skills:
• Bachelors degree with 5+ years of experience

• Strong background in F-35 aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.

• Experience leading a team to meet operational goals and/or resolve technical issues.

• Communicate clearly and effectively.

• Knowledge and experience with DOMMS, VAS, ALIS, JTD, JDL, JEDI, VISION, PDM, SFM, and QADS.

• Knowledge of Project Management

• Analytical skills to establish, maintain and interpret key metrics.

• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Understanding of production operations processes

• Root Cause Analysis

• Ability to build and maintain a strong network or utilize their knowledge or experiences to influence solutions that benefits business partners.

• Gather relevant information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or factors; grasp complexities and perceives relationships among problems or issues

• Strong communication and problem solving skills. The ability to work autonomously when provided work instructions.

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge and experience with DOMMS, VAS, ALIS, JTD, JDL, JEDI, VISION, PDM, SFM, and QADS software

• Knowledge of formal problem solving methodologies, and ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
