Description:
You will be the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) In Country Post Production Business Relations Lead for the Saudi Arabia (KSA) THAAD Team. Our team drives all post production sustainment, maintenance, and logistics for the THAAD system deployed in the Kingdom, coordinating closely with Lockheed Martin, the Missile Defense Agency, and Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces to keep the capability ready and reliable.
What You Will Be Doing
As the THAAD In Country Post Production Business Relations Lead, you will serve as the central liaison for every maintenance, sustainment, and post production activity across the Maintenance Test & Support Depot, Supply Support Base, and Air Defense Forces Institute. You’ll translate customer and product requirements into practical solutions while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints, and you’ll keep senior stakeholders fully informed of status and risks.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Act as the primary point of contact for Lockheed Martin, MDA, and RSADF leaders (both CONUS and OCONUS) to provide real time status updates and surface any concerns.
• Own the execution of the in country sustainment strategy, ensuring THAAD capability is fully supported throughout its lifecycle.
• Partner with the Lockheed Martin Program Management team to identify, analyze, and resolve scope, cost, schedule, and risk issues; champion efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct interface studies, timeline and requirements allocation, effectiveness and verification analyses, and evaluate cost, risk, and supportability.
• Serve as the designated backup for the In Country Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Lead when required.
• Contribute technical input and support to proposal development and new business opportunities related to KSA THAAD post production.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored Interim Secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- 15-20 years of relevant experience working in Air Defense and Logistics Operations (or similar position)
- Previous experience with the THAAD system (or similar system)
- An active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET (or Interim SECRET) Security Clearance.
- A valid U.S. Passport with no restrictions on travel
- Willingness to perform these duties in KSA for the total duration of this assignment
- Ability to meet KSA Iqama (residence permit/visa) requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
- Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the customer
- Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract
Desired Skills:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in appropriate field commensurate to assignment and / or equivalent military background
- Previous experience as a THAAD or Patriot Army Officer (Major or above), a senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) or Program Management Manager
- Demonstrated ability in interpreting and explaining EVM, Cost and Schedule of an FMS Program
- Demonstrated ability to brief senior leadership of Lockheed Martin, USG and FMS customer
- Previous experience working with the KSA armed forces
- Previous experience executing maintenance management in a military environment (US Army, foreign military, or similar)
- Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate sophisticated technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management, and customers
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Basic knowledge of:
- US DoD Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Management (LORs, LOAs, etc.)
- New & Follow-On Business Capture Management
- FMS & Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) Contract Execution
- Army Supply System
- Army Sustainment (i.e. Depot Maintenance) concepts/processes
- Army Field Maintenance concepts/processes
- Other desired military (MOS) training:
- 14A / 140A / 140E / 14E / 14H / 14T

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
