Description:
You will be a key member of the Missiles & Fire Control Financial Planning & Analysis team, partnering with Strategic Planning & Business Development to drive business growth and investment decisions. Our team is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.
What You Will Be Doing
As an FP&A Financial Management Staff member, you will support financial consolidation activities, provide financial planning and analysis, and develop business cases and financial models to inform strategic decisions. You will also run portfolio optimization analyses and maintain historical databases to track business case evolution.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting financial consolidation activities and key deliverables (Monthly Outlooks, LRP, 10-Year Strat Plan)
• Developing business cases, financial models, and ROI analyses for new initiatives and investments
• Running portfolio optimization analyses and developing presentation materials for executive-level briefings
• Maintaining historical databases and analysis tools to track business case evolution

Basic Qualifications:
• Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of corporate finance and strategic planning principles
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining complex financial models (business case, ROI, etc.), and analyzing large datasets to inform business decisions
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Skills:
• Program FP&A experience
• Knowledge of New Business Funds (IR&D / B&P) and MFC allocation process
• Experience with financial tools including Horizon, Longview, and MFC Electronic Financial Systems (EFS) or Oracle EPM
• Experience with Digital Transformation tools, including database management, data manipulation, and visualization (Tableau or PowerBI is a plus)
• Experience interacting with company VP’s, Directors, Managers, cross-functional peers, coworkers, and entire company personnel as a lead financial POC while working in a “team” environment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
