Description:You will be the Sr. Project Technical Lead for the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) team. Our team is tasked with the design and manufacturing of automation and robotics solutions for Missiles and Fire Control.

What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Technical Lead to manage the planning and execution of moderate to high complexity projects in support of manufacturing automation activities across LM-MFC facilities. Candidate will also oversee the planning and execution of IRAD projects, including capital projects in support of AMT operations. Collaborates with cross-functional staff to create proposals and schedules in response to current and potential new program opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Approximately 20% travel may be required to facilitate multi-site automation projects.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, procurement) to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Utilize project management software to track and manage project activities.
• Manage the implementation of new automation technologies into the production process across LM-MFC sites.
• Coordinate/plan with vendors and suppliers related to equipment and software integrations.
• Collaborate with Strategic Planning and Capital Management teams to define project scope, associated spend plans, and target costs.
• Monitor IRAD and Capital projects expenditures, deliverables, and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Analyze project execution and spending trends and provide recommendations for recovery/optimization.
• Prepare project status reports and presentations for senior management.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in project engineering management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in project planning and technical management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Ability to create and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Experience with budgeting and financial analysis is highly desirable.
• Experience in high mix, low volume manufacturing is a plus.
• U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Technical understanding of engineering processes and products, where ability to summarize and explain complex technical subjects is required.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, prior experience working in manufacturing settings where automation and robotics are utilized.
• Ability to develop and communicate larger automation strategy/projects across multiple product lines – excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated discipline in executing multi-functional projects with competing constraints.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
