Description:

You will be the Configuration & Data Management (CDM) Point of Contact for the Future Interceptor team. Our group delivers cutting edge interceptor systems by integrating product engineering, process excellence, and lifecycle data management to keep the program on schedule, within budget, and technically superior.

What You Will Be Doing
As the CDM POC you will own the end to end configuration and data strategy for the Future Interceptor contract. You’ll work side by side with the Integrated Product/Process Team (IPT), drive configuration control, and ensure our technical data package (TDP) remains accurate, traceable, and ready for rapid decision making.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Actively participate in IPT meetings, providing CDM insight and ensuring alignment across disciplines.
• Review and comment on Program Planning documents (Program Management Plan, SOW, SOR, etc.) to embed configuration best practices early.
• Draft, publish, and continuously update the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) in line with program milestones.
• Enforce Configuration Control activities, guaranteeing every change follows approved processes.
• Lead Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, prepare agendas, capture decisions, and track corrective actions.
• Analyze engineering change packages for technical and programmatic impact, flagging risks and recommending mitigation.
• Set up and monitor workflow teams within the PLM database, acting as the workflow coordinator to keep data flowing smoothly.
• Vet Change Notices (CN) to confirm compliance with Lockheed Martin command media and program specific requirements.
• Manage initial releases and all subsequent revisions of the Technical Data Package (TDP), ensuring version control and accessibility.

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven experience in Software Configuration Management in an environment of rigorous hardware/software baseline configuration techniques
• Proven experience with tools GIT, Artifactory, JIRA, Confluence
• Proven experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Systems (e.g. Teamcenter)
• Cost Account Management (CAM) Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Desired Skills:
• Experience analyzing hardware and software systems
• Experience working in PLM tools (Windchill)
• Focused attention to detail to ensure required data attributes are accurate and complete, and that workflow processes are executed thoroughly
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
• Resolving technical challenges requiring integration with cross-functional teams
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
•Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with configuration status accounting and product release process

• Experience working with customer and Sub-Contractor CDRL/SDRLs and SOWs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with reading and understanding DoD Contracts

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
