Description:You will be the Systems Software Quality Engineering (SSQE) Associate Manager for our team in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for leading the Systems and Software Quality Engineering discipline, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as AS9100 and CMMI, and driving continuous improvement in software quality.

As the SSQE Associate Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our SSQE team, driving performance and excellence in software quality engineering. You will lead the development and implementation of quality engineering strategies, talent development, and process improvements, ensuring alignment with program requirements, customer needs, and industry best practices.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Providing strategic leadership and direction to the SSQE team
-Driving continuous improvement, talent development, and process enhancements
-Maintaining alignment with industry standards, such as AS9100 and CMMI
-Interfacing with cross-functional teams, including systems and software development, test and evaluation, cybersecurity, program quality, and supplier quality
-Collaborating with program managers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality requirements are met
-Solving complex problems associated with software product quality

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
STEM degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
Strong knowledge of industry recognized Quality systems/models such as ISO9001, AS9100, and CMMI.
Strong knowledge of Software Quality Engineering experience in SDLC phases to include Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Code/Unit Test, Product Integration, System Level Verification & Validation.
Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++) to verify implementation of requirements with a good understanding of software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.
Strong knowledge of Test Equipment lifecycle phases and related activities to include Requirements, Design, Schematic Drawings, Development, Proof & Validation and Certification.
Strong knowledge of Auditing/Assessments using processes, procedures and Industry recognized Quality systems/models such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS) and the Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).
Experienced with creating Basis of Estimate (BOE) for business proposals, Earned Value Management (EVM) and Systems/Software staffing and long-range planning goals and objectives.
Experienced in performing Lean Six Sigma/Root Cause Corrective Action analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems with a focus on continual improvement practices associated with the quality of software products in deliverable systems.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization and interact with multiple functions and stakeholders (e.g., Production Operations, Global Supply Chain, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, Software Suppliers and Customers) to work strategic plans and/or implement new solutions.
Ability to lead teams, mentor employees, train employees and influence changes within the organization.
Ability to give, receive, and act on critical feedback.
Ability to travel
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Desired Skills:
STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher preferred.
ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE)
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
Control Account Management (CAM), Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience with Government customers including DCMA
Experience with Software Engineering and the ability to read and understand software code in C/C++.
Experience with National Instruments LabWindows/CVI, LabVIEW and TestStand development environments.
Experience with cybersecurity and the ability to mitigate vulnerabilities on both production and development programs.
Experience supporting major Program Reviews on both production and development programs.
Experience collaborating with cross-functions, cross-sites and cross-business areas.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
