What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Industrial Engineer in Greenville, SC, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across our production and manufacturing facilities. This position supports key aerospace programs by analyzing workflows, enhancing processes, and implementing efficiency improvements that directly impact performance, cost, and safety. You’ll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the overall success of our operations. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and design workflows and sequences of operations to boost productivity and reduce inefficiencies across plant and production facilities.

- Optimize equipment layouts and labor utilization to maximize output and streamline processes.

- Support cost control and inventory initiatives by conducting in-depth studies and recommending actionable solutions.

- Develop and implement plans for facility improvements, process enhancements, and operational method revisions.

- Collaborate with safety teams to support accident prevention initiatives and assist in training programs related to production operations.

- Work closely with facilities engineering on planning and design of production areas and layout improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 4 years of professional experience, 2 years of professional experience with a Masters degree, or 7 years experience without a Bachelors degree
Desired Skills:
Degree in Industrial Engineering
Experience with SAP data and a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or manufacturing shop floor system
Large scale Aerospace manufacturing experience
Strong mathematical background through education or experience
Clearance Level: None

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
