Description:This highly visible Senior Strategic Planner position is focused primarily on Strategy Operations & Analytics within Enterprise Strategy team.

The Enterprise Strategy team is responsible for the development of critical strategic products such as the annual strategic plan, strategic plan derivative products, leading strategic business reviews, competitor and customer deep dives, and routine analysis for the LM Space executive leadership team. This candidate will leverage expertise to tactfully work with Mission Strategy and Advanced Capability (MSAC) strategy leaders and the Enterprise Strategy team to ensure operational excellence and help drive insights from data. Responsibilities include:

- Supporting the development of key deliverables like the annual LM Space enterprise strategy, Strategic Planning Council data call, Market analysis and other data related deliverables
- Deliver actionable, decision-quality strategic insights, analysis, and planning that will serve to support the MSACs, Global Business, and larger Space Enterprise in strategy development and strategic decision making
- Support the completion of Corporate Deliverables like Business Priorities Review, Board of Director taskers and any other Ad-hoc taskers
-Partnering with Strategic Transactions, Strategic Intelligence, Growth Investments, MSACs, and other stakeholder
groups to mature thinking and pressure test assumptions on beyond-line-of-sight markets, economies, and strategies
-Combine and leverage large amounts of data to conduct scenario planning to evaluate potential outcomes of strategic decisions under varying market conditions
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree – Preferred focus on business, finance or data analytics field
• Significant experience with excel
• Experience with data visualization software like Tableau or Power BI
• Understanding of database management, data cleansing, etc.
• Collaborative personality with proven ability to work cross-functionally
• Organization and attention to details
• Demonstrated experience in developing and presenting executive level briefing material
Desired Skills:
• DoD T/S Clearance
• Demonstrated understanding of the LM Space Portfolio through direct work experience across multiple functions/missions
• Proven ability to synthesize and distill complex ideas into understandable and actionable information
• Ability to manage concurrent efforts and provide exceptional high-quality products
• Project management experience
• Experience presenting at the executive level

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
