Description:WHAT WE’RE DOING
The Aircraft Media Gateway (AMG) program enables the P-8A aircraft to sustain and improve the armed maritime and littoral Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance capabilities for United States Naval forces in traditional, joint and combined roles to counter changing and emerging threats.
Typical tasking will be associated with implementing and integrating software to incorporate customer software changes, DevSecOps and network infrastructure – building SW, maintaining deployment of software to hardware, and building automated installation software.
THE WORK:
As a member of our team, you will work in an agile scrum development environment, where you will design and develop technically complex software systems. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the generation of reliable and reproducible media builds, ensuring that the latest fleet releases for the aircraft can be supported. Additionally, you will provide support for external network interfaces for data ingest and offload, as well as hardware rack builds.

WHO YOU ARE:
You’ll have a Software Engineering background and a passion for team-based software integration and system deployment. You will have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional experience, a Master’s degree with over 7 years of experience , or equivalent experience/combined education and meet the Basic Qualifications listed. The ideal candidate will also have one or more of the listed Desired skills.
If selected you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience leading a technical SW team
• At least 2 years of experience with building P-8A Aircraft Media through RAID and partition creation, Operational Flight Program installation, and Pre-flight Insertion Data installation
• A team player with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively within a team environment
• Prior experience with interfacing directly with external customers

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
