Job Responsibilities
Description:• Overseeing daily operations ensuring master schedules and contractual requirements are met, maintaining high quality standards through P squared self-assurance disciplines, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders including engineering, quality, planning, senior leadership, program office, and customer personnel.
• Providing oversight and leadership responsibilities for the training, licensing and validation of personnel skills and abilities in accordance with appropriate licensing plans.
• Providing oversight, evaluation, counseling, recognition, training, awards and overall leader management responsibilities of assigned personnel.
• Setting daily assembly and test priorities, direct and assign personnel as appropriate to meet those priorities and measure performance against benchmarks.
• Conducting multifunctional meetings, reviews and evaluations to resolve processing and safety issues with engineering, operations support and Quality Assurance Engineering (QAE).
• Developing a high-performance work team by leveraging diversity, demonstrating the highest ethical standards and setting challenging team goals.
• Communicating to customers, upper management and key stake holders.
• Holding first line primary responsibility for all matters relating to daily manufacturing and testing operations at the Cable Shop
Basic Qualifications:
• Desire to lead and manage.
• Demonstrated leadership behaviors consistent with Full Spectrum Leadership competencies.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the areas of electronics manufacturing and test.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience working within cross-functional groups, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve complex problems in both proactive and reactive scenarios, with the ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, as well as other software tools such as project management software, CAD systems, or data analysis tools.
• Willingness to work overtime as required to meet the needs of the mission.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others at various levels.
• Strong technical and problem solving skills in the area of electronics manufacturing and test.
• Experienced working in teams and creating highly functional work groups.
• Experience in managing a team using tools, &/or systems typically used in a production &/or manufacturing environment.
• Experience business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality)
• Experience forecasting manpower.
• Understanding of business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality).
• Greenbelt certified.
• Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools, with the ability to apply these tools in a practical setting
• Ability to interpret cable drawings
• Experience in project management or program management roles.
• Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, as well as common military specifications, with the ability to interpret and apply these standards and specifications in a practical setting.
• SAP and APRISO MES Experience.
• Knowledge of Digital Transformation and Automation Processes in a Manufacturing Assembly Environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
