The Lockheed Martin Space Radio Frequency (RF) Talent Center (RFTC) team is seeking an experienced RF Engineering Manager. As an RF Engineering Manager, you will lead and drive collaboration between diverse teams of RF engineers located in multiple Lockheed Martin sites that support the RF design, development, and new technology implementation efforts of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) and Strategic Reentry Programs.
The FBM and Strategic Reentry Programs are experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of strategic deterrence.
FBM and Strategic Reentry are long standing programs that have been a part of the United States strategic deterrence mission for over 60 years. As we enter the next phase of FBM and Strategic Reentry, there are significant opportunities for growth and career development. What does this role look like?
• Providing technical coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.
• Supporting RF development and execution of program requirements.
• Promoting customer focus and serving as the RF technical conscience for the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a group of RF engineers supporting multiple but related projects simultaneously.
• Manage and coordinate with external partners, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful program execution.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of complex project schedules, ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, program office, and procurement.
• Interact with senior management, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Provide regular program status to senior management and customers.
• Analyze and mitigate risks, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Work full time onsite Denver CO and support domestic travel (up to 10% in support of program activities).
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.
• History of successfully managing small groups of RF engineers supporting multiple but related projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing and coordinate with external partners, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful program execution.
• Ability to provide concise and meaningful program status to senior management and customers.
• History of, and ability to provide technical coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Familiarity with the tools necessary to assist in the development and maintenance of complex project schedules.
• Ability to successfully interact with and influence senior management, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Ability to work full time onsite in Denver CO, potential domestic travel (up to 10%) to support program activities.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Current or Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Demonstrated technical depth and understanding necessary to support RF subsystem development, execution of program requirements, and technical scope.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, quality, program office, and procurement.
• Demonstrated business acumen necessary to promote customer focus and serve as the RF technical conscience for the program.
• Cost Account management experience.
• Successful history and ability to analyze and mitigate risks, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Current or Active Top Secret Clearance; US Citizenship.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $139,600 - $246,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
