Who You Are:
We're looking for an exceptional leader to serve as our Systems Architect, playing a critical role in shaping the overall technical direction of our C2 Ground programs. As an ideal candidate, you will have a background in systems architecture, with proven experience leading teams and guiding technical efforts. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned engineer to lead a team of engineers and technicians through the strategic design, implementation, and deployment of complex mission-critical systems.

What You Will Be Doing:
As our Systems Architect, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our program execution, driving technical innovation and excellence. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Developing and driving overall technical solutions for a product line or program, with a focus on digital transformation and innovation.
• Supporting the full product lifecycle, from design and development to production and post-production.
• Communicating a product's architectural future to stakeholders and leadership.
• Assessing and converting mission needs and requirements into systems solutions, taking into account system design and technology maturity constraints.
• Developing and maintaining technical roadmaps for programs and products, capturing the overall vision for the product lines, infrastructure, development environments, and labs.
• Translating architecture analysis into actionable plans and product development roadmaps.
• Staying up-to-date with current and emerging architectural technologies, design, and analysis techniques.
• Developing models and architectural guidelines for system development.
• Ensuring technical dependencies are monitored and risks are captured and appropriately elevated.
• Accounting to program leadership for engineering efforts including program execution, technical estimation, and proposal/ROM writing and review.
• Cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, focused on understanding and satisfying customer needs.
• Ensuring the establishment/tracking of key Technical Performance Measures.
• Ensuring product line support of program-specific variations is configuration-managed.

Basic Qualifications:
• Current/Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems architecture best practices
• Strong understanding of software system design principles, including modularity, scalability, and reliability
• Proven experience completing transformation initiatives within a technical team, with a focus on driving technical change and innovation both within the product solution and the development process
• Highly experienced in Agile methodologies and execution in Agile programs
Desired Skills:
• Experience with RMS C2 Ground family of programs and products
• Experience with the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics ADP/Skunkworks product lines
• Experience with cloud-based systems, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with using artificial intelligence (AI) to augment systems and software implementation efforts.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
