Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer Sr Stf to take on the critical role of Production Acceleration Lead. In this position, you will own all ramp-to-rate efforts for our manufacturing operations, ensuring that our facilities, processes and teams are fully aligned and capable of meeting aggressive production goals. You will be at the center of our growth efforts—driving planning, execution, and coordination across capital investments, new construction, workforce planning and operational readiness.
What You Will Be Doing
• Leading all aspects of production ramp-to-rate initiatives from planning through execution.
• Coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to align capital projects, facility construction, equipment installation and shift structures to meet capacity targets.
• Conducting capacity and throughput assessments to identify constraints and recommend solutions.
• Driving schedule alignment between engineering, supply chain, production and facilities teams to ensure readiness milestones are met.
• Monitoring progress against ramp goals, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Leading problem-solving sessions to remove barriers to increased production output.
• Partnering with leadership to develop workforce and shift models that maximize efficiency while supporting employee engagement.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in manufacturing production ramp-ups, capacity planning or large-scale operational transitions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in capacity modeling, throughput analysis, and process optimization.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive leadership.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
Desired Skills:
• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or related discipline.
• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Demonstrated success in implementing new shift structures or workforce models.
• Knowledge of capital project planning, construction coordination, and large-scale equipment integration.
• Experience with digital manufacturing tools and simulation modeling.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
