Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time mid-career program manager. The candidate will serve as Franchise 1 Deputy Program Manager with in C6ISR and UWS for the Franchise 1 and 3 program portfolio. This position will be located in Manassas, VA.

THE WORK

As a part of the program management team, the candidate will serve as the Government’s point-of-contact and to provide leadership and guidance for contractor personnel and subcontractors supporting the Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Delivery Order programs (legacy and future programs) and additional Franchise Program Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract programs.

WHO YOU ARE

This individual shall play a critical role in program execution by managing the business rhythm, budget, schedule, risks, facilitating internal/external reviews, developing proposals, and aligning Lockheed Martin business initiatives to drive successful outcomes. They will coordinate closely with internal functional teams to ensure seamless execution of program objectives and contribute to all aspects of program communications and ongoing customer engagement.

This person shall be readily available to respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues.

The candidate must be able to anticipate customer needs and formulate and propose solutions that are complex in nature.

The candidate will have a strong understanding of program and business operations and will be responsible for achievement of mission critical milestones and contract performance on an ongoing basis.

The position requires full-time in office work. Remote work is not permissible.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet and maintain suitability to work government contract requirements.

Applicant must have a TS with SCI eligibility.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination, prioritization, and communication of work efforts
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management principles or project lead experience
• Ability to work in Manassas, VA Facility full-time
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Technical degree preferred
• Experience with development, implementation, and management of cost, schedule, and technical baselines
• Risk and Opportunity Management experience
• Practical experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and reporting requirements
• Certified Control Account Manager (CAM)
• Experience working with subcontracts/subcontractors
• Proposal cost estimating experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
