Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Support Team Member Sr – Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide hands-on support, technical expertise, and leadership in a team-based manufacturing environment. This role is critical in resolving electrical matters, optimizing production processes, and ensuring that customer requirements are met with quality and efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting:
• Support, identify, compile, communicate, and resolve electrical production issues.
• Ensure calibration of engineering and support organizations for seamless operations.
Production Coaching & Leadership:
• Coach production staff on best practices for completing electrical tasks.
• Step in as acting supervisor when needed.
• Conduct audits to assess compliance, efficiency, and quality of the production team.
Hands-On Production Support:
• Work directly on the production floor to facilitate smooth workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve production challenges.
• Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
Training & Process Improvement:
• Facilitate self-directed work teams, empowering employees to meet and exceed production goals.
• Deliver training in core electrical skills, fostering continuous learning and development.
• Work with internal and external customers to implement process improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of aircraft electrical systems &/or functions.
• Experience with electrical repair on the production floor of the C-130.
• Working knowledge of electrical process specs,
WRD's, TA's, MPS's &/or electrical bonding and
grounding specs.
• Working knowledge of identifying all electrical components and functionality.
• Experience relating to aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, assembly, &/or modifications.
• Experience planning, correcting, &/or leading projects of work.
• Production / shop floor Experience.
Desired Skills:
• Effective communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical details.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers and teams.
• 5 yrs experience relating to aircraft manufacturing, assembly or modifications.
• Experience with repair on the production floor of the C130.
• Working knowledge and access to computer
systems such as SFM, QADS, &/or DIMS
• Experience mentoring and providing on-the-job training related to quality control methods, techniques and compliance requirements to the workforce.
• Ability to plan, orchestrate maintenance actions in support of Production goals and schedule
• Ability to build and maintain a strong network or utilize their knowledge or experiences to influence solutions that benefits organizational goals.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
