Description:WHAT WE'RE DOING

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, we are at the forefront of naval combat system integration and test efforts that support the U.S. Navy and allied nations. Our mission-critical programs—such as Aegis Ship Integration and Test, FFG-62, and Small Surface Combatants—ensure that our warfighters have the most advanced and reliable capabilities available at sea. From new construction ships to modernization and in-service support, we deliver the engineering excellence and program leadership required to keep the fleet mission-ready.

THE WORK

As the Senior Program Manager for Ship Integration and Test, you will lead a portfolio of both sole-source and competitively awarded contracts. You’ll be responsible for program execution and strategic direction across a range of initiatives including Aegis Ship I&T, Design Engineering Services, FFG-62 I&T, Small Surface Combatants, and the Ship Self Defense System. This position is key to ensuring the integration, test, and operational readiness of combat systems across multiple ship classes.
In this role, you will:
• Oversee all program phases from capture and contract award through execution and closeout.
• Manage contract scope including installation design products, test planning and execution, and ship integration efforts across SCN, Modernization, and In-Service programs.
• Provide oversight of Aegis Ashore Operations & Maintenance and Planning Yard activities, as well as Foreign Military Sales (FMS) support.
• Lead and maintain a cost-effective, high-performing Ship I&T workforce in alignment with program requirements.
• Drive innovative tools, process improvements, and knowledge transfer across the team to improve program performance and efficiency.
• Lead capture and proposal activities in support of future growth opportunities.

Our team thrives on complex challenges, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering results that have a direct impact on national security.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a strategic and experienced program manager with a strong background in defense contracting and Navy systems. You understand the complexity of shipboard integration and know how to manage technical, schedule, and cost performance in a high-visibility environment. You’re an effective communicator and people leader who builds strong customer relationships and empowers your team to succeed.

WHY JOIN US

This is your opportunity to play a leading role in delivering next-generation naval capability. At Lockheed Martin, you’ll have access to advanced tools, robust training, and the support of a mission-focused team. You'll help shape the future of maritime defense while developing your own career with one of the world’s most respected defense companies.
