At Lockheed Martin's Moorestown, NJ location, we are pushing the boundaries of defense technology by developing advanced systems that support national security. Our Test Site Lab Management Team plays a crucial role in supporting System Security Engineering (SSE) initiatives within test environments that drive innovation and ensure the integrity of mission-critical systems like the AEGIS Weapon System.
The Work
As a Project Specialist Sr/Lab Lead, you will provide hands-on technical and operational support for SSE Development and Test efforts. You will ensure seamless lab setup and execution of projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing equipment, and ensuring that lab infrastructure aligns with program needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
-Supporting SSE Hardware Lead in defining parts lists and equipment drawings.
-Ensuring development lab spaces are prepared, racks installed, and equipment is provisioned on schedule.
-Provisioning and sanitizing PMF (Platform Management Firmware) development equipment/modules.
-Assisting in lab space planning—evaluating power, space, and cooling needs.
-Troubleshooting hardware issues with development modules and cabinets.
-Coordinating lab activation activities in compliance with established procedures.
-Supporting test configuration and verification for operational readiness.
-Tracking SSE equipment across labs, maintaining detailed records of location, status, and configuration.
Please Note: This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level. This position is onsite in Moorestown, NJ.

Your qualifications include:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of technical experience or equivalent education/experience.
Professional background in IT, hardware engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience supporting hardware/software development or support teams.
Proficiency in MS Office and Visio.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with the AEGIS Weapon System and knowledge of AWS Combat System Elements.
Understanding of GFE Management and Moorestown lab procedures.
Hands-on experience with electronic test tools (oscilloscopes, cable testers, DMMs, RF analyzers).
Familiarity with creating labor plans and CBOMs for lab activations.
Project management experience.
Knowledge of TI16 Mod0/Mod1 system architecture and AEGIS Computing Infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of related professional/technical experience in Information Technology, Hardware Engineering, Technical, or similar professional background
• Experience working on a Hardware/Software Engineering and/or Hardware Support Team
• Experience with MS Office
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret Clearance is required
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with the AEGIS Weapon System, as well as an understanding of the AWS Combat System Elements and their relationship to the various integrated ship configurations
• Understanding of GFE Management and Moorestown Lab processes
• Familiarity with the use of Electronic Test Equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Network Cable Testers, DMM's, and RF Network Analyzers
• Familiarity with creating labor plans and CBOM inputs for lab activation and equipment build-up efforts
• Ability to independently determine and develop approach to solutions
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience with Project Management
• Familiarity with TI16 Mod0 and Mod1 system architecture, as well as all areas of the AEGIS Computing Infrastructure
• Experience with Visio
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
