Job Responsibilities
Description:
You will be the Sustainment Engineer Sr. for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for implementing the Production Integrated Sustainment Program Plan (ISPP), integrating comprehensive logistics, and sustainment planning to support contract requirements for the production phase of our products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sustainment Engineer Sr., you will be responsible for executing solutions that balance technical, schedule, and cost constraints, while serving as the point of contact for local logistics services with the customer. You will work closely with the Red River Army Depot (RRAD) team to support post-production sell-off efforts for HIMARS and diplomatically resolve issues noted during Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) inspections.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing and resolving discrepancies noted by RRAD personnel in support of Prescribed Maintenance procedures
• Providing logistics management support activities
• Evaluating, identifying, and reporting risks associated with program activities
• Supporting logistics, maintenance, and maintainability demonstrations for customers
• Supporting test and support equipment activities
• Creating and reviewing system maintenance procedures and training products

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Technical knowledge to ensure the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS)/M270A1/A2 Fire Control System (FCS) and Launcher Module (LM)
Experience with proper utilization of system, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, in accordance with established procedures.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Must be willing to travel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exhibit competent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products and internet navigation capabilities
Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the customer and related stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little or no direction and interface well with other Program disciplines.
Candidate should be an analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
The ideal candidate would be a prior service M270A1/HIMARS vehicle operator, maintainer or trainer with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities
Prior military experience
Must be able to obtain if needed a Secret Clearance and related background check
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
