The Work
Cyber Support Operations is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with a versatile skill set and a passion for learning new technologies to join our cyber range team. This role involves supporting the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) program in Charleston, South Carolina. As a member of the Range Operations team, you will be responsible for the daily management of the NCRC’s Event Execution System (EES) and Integration Development Environment (IDE). Your duties will include overseeing resource management, ensuring compliance with system architecture and requirements, and delivering all necessary elements for customer test events. This includes timely Testbed Buildout, sanitization, and making sure EES resources are ready for upcoming tests. Candidates must have a strong background in Linux.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education in addition to 9 years of professional experience.
• Must have final TS clearance
• Familiarity with IT systems engineering principles and concepts.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, applications, networks, with moderate to high level software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• In-depth working knowledge of data centers, computer rooms, and operation of complex computing environments including certificate management for both servers and clients.
• Team player with experience leading projects and teams; demonstrated team builder with outstanding organizational skills.
• Must meet the IAT level 2 certifications upon start such as Security+
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated multi-tasker with a proven ability to support multiple engineering discipline requirements and coordination of employee task assignment, etc. while leading and balancing the development needs of the personnel on the team.
• Self-starting problem solver with demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team and communicate effectively with various levels of an organization.
• Experience and initiative to identify and train personnel required to strategically drive program success.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to document solutions and present ideas and information to cross-functional teams.
• Ability to conceptualize holistic application and networking problems relating to complex infrastructure and data center designs.
• Basic to advanced understanding of NetApp SAN Management, Fiber Switch Configuration, Layer1 Switch concepts and configuration.
• Ability to establish processes, standard operating instructions (SOIs) and manage configuration baselines and identify life cycle operations of equipment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
