Description:
You will be The Performance Management Team (PMT) Business Partner. This role plays a crucial role in facilitating the PMT process for Production Operations at the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Orlando site.
What You Will Be Doing
As a key member of the team, the PMT Business Partner will engage with cross-functional teams on a weekly basis to drive continuous improvement and empower teams to advance the business by transforming ideas into action. The ultimate goal is to support the vision of becoming a world-class manufacturing site.
The PMT Business Partner will interact with team members, site leadership, and Enterprise PMT to support, maintain, and improve the PMT process. This role requires a strong ability to facilitate collaboration, drive accountability, and advocate for team members. The PMT Business Partner will also be responsible for guiding process improvement opportunities, assisting with lean six sigma (LSS) tools and techniques, and driving team performance.
Responsibilities:
• Align team initiatives with the Orlando Manufacturing Site Vision, PMT Mission, and business objectives
• Facilitate weekly team meetings and act as a liaison between team members, managers, and directors
• Advocate for team members and ensure their voices are heard
• Guide teams in process improvement opportunities and assist with LSS tools and techniques
• Drive accountability and team performance
• Assist with goal-setting, as well as the goal modification process, metric selection, and team engagement
• Evaluate and report team performance to all levels of the organization
• Create and present communication packages to establish buy-in for MFC, Orlando, and PMT initiatives
• Conduct metric training and team leader training
• Coordinate team recognition and award activities
• Lead or support special projects for the Orlando site and/or the MFC PMT Office
• Serve as a PMT brand ambassador and represent the PMT Systems Working Group
• Ensure accuracy of savings packages and metric data

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, operations management)
Minimum 6 years of experience in a related field (e.g., operations, manufacturing, quality) Or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with performance management systems and metrics
Ability to drive accountability and team performance
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Desired Skills:
• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly,
machining, or production environment
• Experience collecting, verifying and analyzing
data from reporting systems
• Master’s degree from an accredited college in a
related discipline
• Lean six sigma (LSS) Green Belt trained,
certified, or equivalent experience with
continuous improvement tools and techniques
• Experience as a Team Leader for a PMT, OET,
IPT or an equivalent leadership role
• Ability to develop and be comfortable
presenting communication packages/messages
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
