Position Assignment: F-35A Contractor Instructor Pilot (CIP) to be located at the Łask Tactical Air Base in Łask, Poland. This position will be responsible for the execution of Pilot Training Center (PTC) operations in support of the Poland Ministry of National Defense (MND) and the Polish Air Force (PLAF).

This position supports military pilots' flight procedures in maintaining their qualification level in the Pilot Training Device by executing approved pilot training syllabi, upgrades, and tactics training. The CIP will provide pilot training using the F-35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS). The instructor will primarily operate the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) and will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting pilot training and tactics development, as well as recommending courseware updates. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin team at dedicated training sites to fulfill F-35 training and continuation training objectives. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed. The candidate must maintain a Secret level security clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) access. An appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with the assignment, is required. Additional duties will be assigned as required.

Additional responsibilities:

•Provide academic training through Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML) and Interactive Courseware (ICW).
•Implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs, and policies as directed.
•Comply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with F-35 program and customer procedures.
•Must have experience working in an environment that requires interaction with multiple functional areas and personnel with different backgrounds and expertise.
•Instruct pilots in flight procedures and techniques in ground school courses and flight training, and prepare lesson plans.
•Assist in the preparation of schedules, maintenance of training records, and ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student.
•Evaluate and monitor students' performance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must have active secret clearance Final clearance adjudication within the last five years and be able to qualify and hold a SAP clearance.
• Candidate should have Fighter Flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of military publications and an understanding of fourth and/or fifth generation aircraft training operations.
• Candidate must have prior experience in delivering military pilot academics and simulator training and be familiar with current instructional techniques and delivery methods.
• Candidate must have worked in an environment which required them to interact with multiple functional areas and personnel of a diverse nature.
• Candidate must have outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent leadership traits, strong oral & written communication abilities, solid ability to organize, and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.
• Must have experience in evaluating personnel's performance and in completing performance appraisals.
• Use of Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required.
Desired Skills:
• Previous experience as an F-35 Contractor Instructor Pilot (CIP) or F-35 Pilot Subject Matter (SME) experience.
• 1000+ hours Fighter Flight Time in fourth and/or fifth generation fighter aircraft.
• Previous Fighter experience instructing basic qualification students.
• Familiarity with F-35 tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Familiarity with F-35 program requirements.
• Familiarity with the F-35 ALIS program.
• Previous experience with Polish Air Force customer.
• Familiarity with Poland flight rules, procedures, and operations.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
