Job Responsibilities
Description:As the Enterprise Workforce Planning & Intelligence Operations Lead, this role is instrumental in driving the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our Enterprise Workforce Planning and Intelligence (eWFPi) team. You'll be at the forefront of transforming our organization, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless execution and sustainment of critical processes and integrations that will accelerate eWFPi across the entire organization. This is a dynamic role that demands a blend of operational excellence, strategic foresight, and exceptional collaboration skills. You will own key areas that are vital to our success, operating with a servant leader mindset while confidently navigating complex situations and driving alignment towards our collective goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Ownership & Governance:
- Take full ownership of our suite of workforce planning and intelligence governed process maps within Signavio.
- Leverage process maps to identify and document integration points with other value streams, systems, and data sources, akin to a systems or process architect.
- Establish and maintain robust governance for these processes, including baselining, version control, and adherence to established change review boards, design review boards, and other governing entities.
- Collaborate and facilitate alignment with non-workforce planning entities that have bidirectional process/tech/data dependencies, ensuring seamless process completion across the enterprise business planning ecosystem.
- Support the eWFPi team & integrations lead ensuring integrations across the 1LMX/EBP ecosystem provide proactive bidirectional demand & workforce intelligence signals
Operating Model & Transformation:
- Lead the business in consistently following the operational operating model, ensuring business unit client groups adhere to established processes.
- Partner closely with the Senior Manager and HR Technology portfolio and value stream owners to transform the current eWFP IPT into a governed Change Control Board model, revising the operating model to support this strategic shift.
Operational Leadership:
- Serve as the operational backbone for the eWFP IPT & eWFPi team, expertly planning and facilitating cross-functional meetings covering a wide range of topics.
- Leverage critical tools such as Jira/Jira Agile Hive, Confluence, and other collaboration platforms to manage workflows, track action items, topics of interest, issues, enhancement requests, and meticulously manage the backlog of items. Ensure stories are appropriately linked to supporting reference material.
- Master the use of our company-provided AI note-taking platform to ensure comprehensive capture of all meeting details.
- Facilitate recurring meetings with the eWFP IPT (inclusive of all business areas and key functions), EIT, transformation leads, & stakeholders.
Strategic Support to the Business & Deputy to Senior Manager:
- Serve as the deputy to the Senior Manager, assuming a leadership and team lead role when operating on their behalf (where policy allows).
- Embrace changing priorities with a high drive to help others and a strong alignment to full transparency as a means of fostering partnership and support for/with client groups.
- Lead the eWFPi team's daily stand-up & recurring IPT engagement sessions following the SAFe agile framework.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager on crafting the program increment plan and managing the backlog of items (agenda topics, system enhancements, process changes, and other incoming work).
- Exhibit a strong desire for constant learning and insatiable curiosity, maintaining up-to-date documentation and retaining complex information.
- Be exceptionally skilled at facilitating difficult conversations, holding firm on unpopular decisions when necessary, and demonstrating the Enterprise team's decision authority in collaboration with the business and 1LMX PMO.
Basic Qualifications:
- Possess advanced skills in Jira, Jira Agile Hive, Confluence, and/or Microsoft Teams, with a willingness to implement advanced configurations to enhance team efficiency and capability.
- Proven experience in operations leadership, program / project management, or a similar strategic role within a complex enterprise environment.
- Program/Project Mgmt including iterative backlog prioritization
- Demonstrated expertise in process design, governance, and optimization, ideally with experience in platforms like Signavio.
- Stakeholder management: Strong understanding of integration concepts and experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve seamless data and process flows. Exceptional facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and align diverse groups.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and make informed decisions. Must be comfortable working in & creating/designing solutions in ambiguity/from scratch

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
