These job requirements allow the employee to work at a Lockheed Martin designated office or job site for part of their schedule and has a predefined regular, recurring telework schedule for the remaining part of their work schedule.
- This Manufacturing Financial Analyst will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, analyzing, and communicating the overall financial performance of manufacturing activities for all assigned programs within the Owego business.
- As a contributing member of the team, this analyst will be part of a collaborative team environment, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business decisions and outcomes.
- The ideal candidate will be a team player who can contribute to and thrive in a dynamic team setting, while also providing expert financial analysis and insights to inform business strategy and optimize manufacturing operations. The role includes but is not limited to:
- Directly supporting the Manufacturing organization in the day-to-day program financial activities associated with running a manufacturing business.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) and financial performance reporting for all assigned programs through all phases of production.
- Financial record keeping, complete financial analysis, statusing & forecasting of assigned work scope.
- Creating accurate Estimates at Completion (EAC) forecasts.
- Investigation and understanding of variances to plan & the ability to talk intelligently to the numbers. It will not be just about the numbers - the WHY behind the numbers is a big part.
- Establish & maintain a tight and close partnership with the Manufacturing Program Managers (MPM's) to keep them abreast of the financial health of their programs, allowing the financial analyst to add great value to the MPM.
- Develop knowledge of our Material Management & Accounting System (MMAS) to ensure program and operations activity remains compliant.
- Support both program & compliance audits as required and special projects when needed.
- Possess a self-starter mentality: understanding what needs to be done without day-to-day direction, take initiative to suggest creative approaches and solutions to assignments/challenges.
- Have a positive, can-do attitude and the motivational fit to evolve as an expert.
- Be resourceful: know where to go and who to see to get valuable information. Networking is critical.
- Have strong interpersonal skills as this role will be dealing with many different personalities.
- Demonstrate a confidence level that comes with knowing their information and the ability to communicate it effectively as they will be called on for expert advice on financials.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $84,900 - $147,085.
