The Aero DMS Team (ADT) is an established focal point for integrating obsolescence solutions across the various lines of businesses (LOB) at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. As part of the ADT organization, the DMS Fighter Groups support the F-35, and ADP programs based in Fort Worth, Palmdale, & Marietta. These systems engineers receive an extraordinary level of visibility as well as exposure to programmatic implementation while acting as integrators across a wide range of disciplines both internal and external to the Engineering Technology organization. The DMS Engineers are critical to the production and sustainment of the F-35, and ADP fleet, with a proven record of mitigating industry obsolescence threats.

The candidate will perform duties which incorporate the analysis of technical and obsolescence data such as Bills of Material (BOM) and other industry reports, as well as inventory management and coordination, in order to identify potential impacts to a program. The candidate will also manage, review and disposition DMS Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRLs), and develop, coordinate, and support the presentation of DMS Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to the program Customer.

In addition, the candidate will be a stakeholder in the maintenance and development process of various tools which are used by the team for tracking, coordinating, and executing DMS mitigation cases. Applying knowledge and experience in working with relational databases and using VBA and SQL, the candidate will help adapt critical toolsets to the ongoing demands of the programs and help to incorporate these utilities as Aeronautics standards.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience/combined education considered

General knowledge of electronic components, DMS and Project Management.

Knowledge of trade studies and business case analyses to recommend options for DMS mitigations.
Desired Skills:
Ability to use technical and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple IPTs, disciplines and suppliers in establishing integrated technical and affordable DMS solutions.
B.S. EE or Equivalent, General knowledge of electronic components, DMS and Project Management.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
