What You Will Be Doing
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented U-2 Part Orders Management Lead to join our team in Palmdale, California. In this key role, you will be instrumental in enabling high-velocity supply chain operations to support the U.S. Air Force's global U-2 fleet. Your expertise in supply chain and logistics will directly contribute to enhanced mission readiness, improved aircraft availability, and sustained fleet performance.

You will work collaboratively across multiple functions and programs, leveraging your ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and drive continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact while working in a dynamic and fast-paced aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of parts movement across the U-2 sustainment supply chain.

- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may affect parts flow, maintenance timelines, or mission readiness.

- Remove roadblocks and drive efficiency by coordinating cross-functional teams including planning, procurement, engineering, and logistics.

- Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and leadership, ensuring alignment and clear communication on supply status and priorities.

- Provide regular updates and strategic insights to U-2 leadership, including Sustainment Program Managers, Senior Managers, and the U-2 Program Office.

- Track and report the status of customer-facing spares and repairs, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related field

• Experience collaborating with multifaceted teams and stakeholders.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel utilizing pivot tables and other Excel related actions

• Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically in a high tempo customer-centered environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with stakeholder/customer relationship management
• Experience with SAP or other MRP type software and with data tools or programming languages such as Tableau, SQL, Python, etc., including applied knowledge of MS Excel and data analytical skills and proven and demonstrated functionality.
• Experience with achieving project success under schedule and budget requirements
• Experience with inventory management, finance, contracting, procurement, or product support
• Experience working with military or industrial customers such as inside/outside sales, distribution, scheduling, routing, and customer support sales or engineering systems or other engineering type work that involves ability to read drawings, contracts, and requirements

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $93,800 - $162,610.
