Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a
Business Analyst to support the FBM program.
Candidate will work in a team environment to
deliver custom applications to meet our
customers’ needs. The candidate will be
responsible for requirement gathering,
customer engagement, and testing software
solutions for our internal customers in the
aerospace industry.
Core responsibilities include:
· Capable of building and maintaining strong
business relationships
· Capable of working in a fast-paced team
environment and be a strong team player
· Excellent communication and presentation
skills
· Strong background on all aspects of the
software development life cycle
· Knowledge of agile methodologies and
prioritization skills
· Organizing and executing Integration Test
and User
Acceptance Test activities
· Providing the business with innovative
solution to meet their current and future needs
· Working with the business to document and
manage
Applicants must currently reside in Puerto Rico and be available for full on-site work at our Puerto Rico facility, located in Aguadilla, PR
US Citizenship Required and the ability to
obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proficient in developing clear, traceable software requirements and detailed use‑case specifications
- Proficient in developing and maintaining architecture diagrams and models (UML, Visio, etc.)
- Hands‑on experience with Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence) Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices for issue tracking, sprint planning, and knowledge management
US Citizenship Required and the ability to
obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience converting stakeholder inputs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience performing cybersecurity security assessments (vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, risk analysis)
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to diagnose complex issues and propose pragmatic solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing comprehensive documentation
- Familiarity with Waterfall‑style project phases and the ability to select the appropriate methodology for a given effort
- Proficiency in Tableau (or comparable BI tools) to create dashboards that visualize project health, security metrics, and performance trends
- Demonstrated experience supporting, troubleshooting, and refactoring legacy applications

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
