The Fleet Ballistic Missile Program (FBM) is seeking a Data Analyst to join the mission in Silverdale, WA!


In this multi-faceted role you will report to the Base Management Senior Manager, and will assist the Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP) Group Lead, as well as the Risk & Opportunity and Continuous Improvement Program Manager in a variety of ways, including:

• Attend Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) to assist the organization with analyzing problems/issues and identifying appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze data trends by using tools such as Tableau and present findings to Leadership.
• Assist in the preparation of risk-related documentation for day-to-day risk management, audit readiness, and requirement compliance.
• Work with field site and organization subject matter experts to identify potential operational, safety, and supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Analyze opportunities in areas like resource allocation and project outcomes to improve overall results.

Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Silverdale, WA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications:
• Proven ability to create dataset visualizations, mine and analyze data using descriptive statistics to identify trends, and recommend actionable insights to leadership
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills with respect to Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), SharePoint, and Data Analytics Tools
• Willing to travel
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Six Sigma or LM21 Continuous Improvement Green Belt certification
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, self-starting attitude, demonstrating skills like problem-solving, decisiveness, and initiative
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics; or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master’s degree

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
