Description:THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced and driven professional to serve as Program Manager of S-70 Commercial Programs. This individual will have full accountability for the program capture strategy and execution performance across all internal functional groups and external suppliers to achieve business objectives. The Program Manager will align objectives, metrics, performance progress, and presentations for internal and external customers. This role will include customer, supplier, and internal functional group interface for execution of all program activities. The Program Manager will report to the Senior Program Manager, AAFS DCS Programs.
In this role, you will:
Execute assigned S-70 commercial programs within the cost, schedule, and technical requirements of development, production, test, customer acceptance, delivery, and support efforts.
Provide leadership to a Program Management Team (PMT) consisting of Engineering, Finance, ITC, Contracts, Operations and Aftermarket.
Develop strong working relationships with customer counterparts, major suppliers, Sikorsky leadership team and team members to ensure program success.
Engage Program Planning & Control, Financial Control, and functional leads to actively manage all earned value efforts according to Sikorsky EVMS procedures, lead monthly EV analysis and reporting.
Report status of key projects on a regular basis to Programs and Executive Leadership. Resolve internal management issues and escalate as needed.
Support the Business Development team to define, estimate, and convert proposals into executable contracts.
Track and manage activities to full compliance of all ITC guidelines and requirements as applicable.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in program management, business operations, finance, or related field
Demonstrated experience with cost and schedule management (e.g., Earned Value Management, IMS/IMP, baseline control)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex program requirements
Experience working with U.S. Government contracts and understanding of acquisition lifecycle
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills:
Experience in Program Management and/or Engineering with financial control and earned value experience is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong team building skills required.
BA/BS degree in Engineering, technical, business or related field with 5-8+ years’ experience is required.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple contracts concurrently is preferred.
Solid appreciation of the importance of integrated master plans (IMP) and master schedules (IMS). Able to utilize enterprise scheduling tools to manage all projects/programs. Able to formulate and execute recovery plans as required.
Knowledge of Risk Management tools and implementation is preferred.
Experience working with Operations final assembly, completions and hangar ops is preferred.
International program familiarity and experience with customer acceptance and delivery is preferred.
MA/MS/MBA Preferred.
Project Management Institute Certification and experience with COS, SAP, Primavera and Winsight is preferred.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
