Description:What We’re Doing:
Lockheed Martin’s, Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS), Program Security and Compliance invites you to step up to one of today’s most daunting challenges: the protection of essential government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near peer adversaries. As the International Program Security Representative (IPSR) at Lockheed Martin, you’ll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you’ll work alongside other program security experts, government civilians, military members and foreign government representatives to support our customer’s operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these capabilities protected.

The Work:
This position is located in Stratford, CT and will support multiple customers. The IPSR is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of Sikorsky’s international programs and services. This role requires a strong understanding of international security regulations, laws, and standards, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with international customers, partners, and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

-Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export-controlled data.
-Develop and maintain relationships with international customers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
-Works closely with U. S. and foreign Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations.
-Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for DoD collateral classified programs as well as International Classified programs.
-Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in DOD security rules (NISPOM) and stay up-to-date with changing international security regulations, laws, and standards, and provide recommendations for process improvements and compliance.
-Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program.
-Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
-Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
-Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners.
-Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business development, to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of international program development and execution.

Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
-Experience in managing and overseeing facility security programs, including personnel security, information security, and physical security.
-Ability to understand and appreciate multiple cultural perspectives, with a strong awareness of the diverse needs and values of international customers from various backgrounds, to effectively identify and mitigate potential security risks and threats, while ensuring that security solutions and protocols are culturally sensitive and tailored to meet the unique requirements of a global customer base.
-Strong understanding of international security regulations, laws, and standards, including ITAR, EAR, and other relevant export control regulations.
-Off hour support may be required to support international customer meetings.
-International travel may be required as needed, to support international program security requirements.
-This position may require appointment as a Designated Government Representative (DGR).

-Candidate should have ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information.
-Candidate should have the ability to apply business-minded and risk-managed solutions to DoD and international security issues and business challenges and be able to communicate observations.
-Completion of the OPSEC Analysis course & OPSEC Program Manager course.
-Experience with OPSEC principles and practices, including the ability to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
-Prior experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO).
-CDSE FSO training for possessing facilities certification.
-Working knowledge of: Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Counterintelligence, Technology Control Plans (TCPs), Transportation Plans, Security Aspects Letters (SALs), COMSEC, and CCI.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
