Description:

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer (SAP / Apriso / MPMLink) for the Pike County Operations (PCO). Our team is responsible for developing cutting‑edge production solutions for advanced missile systems that meet the warfighter’s next‑generation needs.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving data‑centric manufacturing excellence across our state‑of‑the‑art facilities. You will ensure that production systems, digital work instructions, and process plans are accurate, reliable, and continuously improved.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Solve technical issues with production operations data systems and ensure all business rules are met across Windchill, SAP, and Apriso.

  • Create and maintain digital work instructions, Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOMs), and Manufacturing Process Plans (MPP).

  • Generate and manage Production Order Routers within Apriso/MPM‑Link.

  • Coordinate manufacturing changes with Quality, Safety, and Production Operations, maintaining configuration management and baseline data control.

  • Audit the MPP system, verify change releases on the production floor, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives with cross‑functional teammates.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.


Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline or 6 years of relevant professional experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with manufacturing data systems (SAP, Windchill, Apriso/MPM‑Link) and configuration management.

• Demonstrated strong technical writing skills

• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross‑functional teams to meet shared goals and deadlines.

• Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting. Additionally, the candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP, PTC Windchill PLM (including MPMLink), and DELMIA Apriso MES; Lockheed Martin experience is desired.

• Experience in aerospace or automotive manufacturing planning and factory production processing using ERP, PLM, and MES tools.

• Proven configuration‑management experience (engineering review, audit, release; product identification; baseline data control).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
