THE WORK
As the Director of Commercial Aftermarket, you will have full responsibility for driving the growth and profitability of our $420M GCMS Aftermarket business, with a focus on orders, sales, EBIT, and cash performance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans that drive business expansion, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance our competitive position in the market.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the growth and profitability of our $420M GCMS Aftermarket business, while also spearheading a strategic initiative to achieve 94% availability with the S-92 fleet. To accomplish this goal, the candidate will leverage the vast amounts of operational and maintenance data as well as cutting edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Maturing the sustainment strategy and developing program management disciplines for the management of Sikorsky’s commercial customers and contracts focusing on improving operational execution and growing transactional spares and repairs business into the long term as well as shaping the strategy and execution of the Total Assurance Program (TAP).
• Lead the program management of commercial helicopter modernization and upgrade programs.
• Oversee the support and integration of Sikorsky owned and supported commercial repair, overhaul, and maintenance operations.
• Serve as the program management executive responsible for the development and integration of new technologies within the current and future commercial rotorcraft fleets
• Identify and capture cost and revenue synergies across the commercial program portfolio as well as across Sikorsky, RMS, and Lockheed Martin as applicable.
• Support the coordination of proposals, business plans, and statements of work for all commercial aftermarket projects.
• Act as the primary customer contact for commercial aftermarket and sustainment program activities and be responsible for the presentation and delivery of strategies to upper management as required.
• Serve as a senior leader in the GCMS market segment and provide strategic direction for the business. As such, the director will engage with, and provide support and leadership, with other market segment leaders and functional executives to enable overall business success.

You are a seasoned and highly effective in team leadership, communications and have a unique ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders, including public media. Most importantly, the selected candidate must be well versed in implementing transformational change of organizations, processes, and systems.
Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree with 15+ years' experience; Advanced degree preferred
• Track record of success in leading transformational change including organization design and process improvement
• ≥ 8 years Program Management experience and capture of new business
• Experience in customer and supplier interface at a senior leadership level
• Demonstrated use of Scheduling, Earned Value, and Risk/Opportunity Management Tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including preparation and presentation to senior program leadership and senior level customers
• Proven demonstrated performance in program management using the earned value management system
• Proven expertise in project planning methodology and in leading a matrix managed team through a project life cycle
• Expertise in managing budgets, work plans, and schedules, deliverables and responsibility matrices is required
• Ability to travel as required

• A thorough understanding of financial/business analysis, commercial and international contracts, technology/business planning
• Excellent oral, written, communications and organizational skills
• Strong business acumen and an understanding for how programs support overall business strategy
• Refresh and further imbed Full Spectrum Leadership through focus on both Key Results and behaviors
• Adept at working with matrix organizations for executing and proposing programs
• Familiarity with rotary wing platforms

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
