Diverse Perspectives Series - Past Events

Our "Diverse Perspectives: Emerging Technologies and Operating Concepts in Industry" virtual fireside chat featuring Rotary and Mission Systems Vice President of Enterprise Technologies, Sue Huelster, and other Lockheed Martin engineers, was held on Oct. 27. The panelists gave their insights on emerging technologies, how to further succeed in engineering and technology careers and the culture and benefits of joining the Lockheed Martin team. Our "Diverse Perspectives: Engineering Through the Years" virtual fireside chat featuring Rotary and Mission Systems Executive Vice President, Stephanie C. Hill, and one of our senior software engineers was held on June 8. The panelists discussed different career paths at Lockheed Martin, our culture of belonging, the evolution of the engineering field and the value of work-life balance. Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems hosted “Diverse Perspectives: The Interview Experience” Jan. 12 to provide jobseekers with insider insight into the interview process at Lockheed Martin. Nearly 200 participants joined the Zoom session, which included a presentation on behavioral interview tips and the STAR (situation, task, action, result) method. A panel discussion, featuring an early career professional, an experienced professional and a recruiting leader, plus an engaging Q&A session followed. Our inaugural "Diverse Perspectives" panel brought together a group of executives who discussed what it’s like working as a woman at Lockheed Martin. The panelists talked about work-life balance, company culture, diverse career opportunities and other topics that are top of mind for many women today as they re-enter the workforce or seek new job opportunities.
