Meet Michael: Sr. Reliability Engineer

Starting at a young age, every weekend was a maintenance mission with my dad. That translated to my first job at a local cider mill, where I learned how proper maintenance is key to reducing waste and downtime in operations. After completing my education at a local community college, I joined the Lockheed Martin Facilities team in the RMS Owego Central Utility Plant (CUP). Managing operations in the CUP gave me insight into the importance of teamwork to keep the "heartbeat" of a site healthy. In my new role on the Facilities Smart Buildings team, I am using Fault Detection & Diagnostics (FDD) software tools in combination with my experience to act as the stethoscope on that "heartbeat" to optimize site operations.
