Courtland, AL - Program Overview
Are you looking to learn new skills from the ground up and have the opportunity to capture industry-recognized certifications? Are you looking for an entry-level role that can help build your career?
The Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program (AMTAP) is a United States Department of Labor (USDOL) Registered Apprenticeship. The AMTAP program will teach you how to build space flight hardware by providing a phased approach to learning with both classroom and hands-on learning opportunities at our LM Space facility in Courtland, AL.
No Experience, No problem! This program will teach you everything you need to be successful.
Successful candidates demonstrate the following abilities:
- Great hand and eye coordination
- Manual dexterity skills
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions
- Works well in a fast-paced, team environment
- Interested in continuously learning and adapting to ongoing industry changes
- Ability to perform precision work
$15/hr. plus benefits while in the 6-week classroom portion of the apprenticeship program.
$18.50/hr. upon offer of full-time employment.
