Description:The Cyber Security Engineering (CSE) team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Senior Manager to lead our Cyber Secure Software (CSS) team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the company's strategy for software security and lead the development of cutting-edge tools like IronFOSS and IronMiner.



As the Cyber Secure Software Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Cyber Secure Software team, overseeing contracted and IRAD projects, and shaping the company's strategy for software security. You will be at the forefront of building innovative tools like IronFOSS and IronMiner, and establishing Lockheed Martin as an industry leader.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead a highly skilled team of cybersecurity and software engineers focused on software security. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Project Management: Directly lead contracted and IRAD projects related to software security. Ensure the successful development and delivery of tools such as IronFOSS and IronMiner, as well as program milestones in support of several major contracts.

Strategy Development: Shape and implement the company's strategy for software security. Create long term strategic roadmaps. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making.

Tool Development: Oversee the development of tools, including IronFOSS and IronMiner, to manage SBOMs and collect software vulnerability data. Ensure these tools meet high standards of quality and effectiveness.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, engineering, and IT, to integrate security measures seamlessly into the software development life cycle. Implement AppSec practices across multiple lines of business at Aeronautics.

Risk Management: Identify and assess potential cybersecurity risks in software security projects. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Proven experience leading engineering teams

Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies

Project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills:
Cyber Security experience

Experience developing and presenting high-level engineering strategy to senior leadership

Software development, integration and/or test experience

Application Security knowledge and experience

Experience implementing security into software development process and tools

Working knowledge of software development processes specific to aircraft or embedded systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
