Description:What You Will Be Doing:
The 5th Generation Air Vehicle Modification Planning and Integration Associate Manager is responsible for collaborating with multiple disciplines to plan, integrate, and execute modification/retrofit tasks associated with specific engineering changes for scheduled modification events. This position reports to the Modification Upgrade and Overhaul (MUO) Planning & Integration Sr. Manager.
We are seeking a leader to manage a team of internal personnel and BAE/NGC partners, performing analysis of Initial Retrofit Plans (IRPs) and establishing milestones to support modification/retrofit events. The successful candidate will work within the 5th Generation Planning & Integration organization, accurately coordinating critical planning and scheduling information with multiple project managers, authors, supply personnel, planner/schedulers, and leaders to achieve program objectives.
Tasks may include, but are not limited to, leading cradle to grave project management; developing briefings on modification status; conducting project reviews; planning modification events; developing modification work packages; assisting in requirements development; and compiling, authoring, and distributing several recurring AV MUO Operations reports and performance deliverables for review by various stakeholders within the 5th Generation Planning & Integration scope. The associate will also provide reach back technical support to field maintainers/mod teams during verification and proofing events for assigned projects.
In addition, this individual will coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training; conduct performance assessments; assign work; manage salary considerations; and oversee recognition or disciplinary actions.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with the assignment
• Minimum 5 + years of related experience; a post secondary degree or formal training in a related discipline is preferred
• Experience with fighter aircraft organizational and depot level maintenance processes
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers and teammates to identify solutions that satisfy requirements of multiple stakeholders
• Interim Secret Clearance (or higher)
Desired Skills:
• Strong project management expertise, including cradle to grave planning, schedule integration, and risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor cross functional teams, coordinating internal staff and external partners (e.g., BAE, NGC).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for developing briefings, status reports, and stakeholder presentations.
• Advanced proficiency with planning and scheduling
• Deep understanding of fighter aircraft organizational and depot level maintenance processes, especially modification/retrofit workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities to assess technical data, resolve schedule or cost variances, and devise practical solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to balance competing stakeholder requirements.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
