Job Responsibilities
Description:The Control Account Manager (CAM) will serve as the Project Management & Planning Operations representative for the Aero ADP (Advanced Development Programs) team within the Engineering & Technology Business Operations organization. This role owns the cost, schedule, and risk performance of software intensive projects, partnering with program leads, engineering, finance, suppliers, and customers to ensure contractual commitments are met and value is delivered on time and on budget.
What You Will Be Doing
• Cost & Schedule Management – Develop, maintain, and track Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Earned Value Management (EVM) data; generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly cost schedule reports; lead schedule status meetings, EV reviews, and Cost & Schedule Review boards.
• Stakeholder Coordination – Liaise with Program Management, Engineering, Subcontract Management, Finance, and external suppliers; facilitate cross functional tag ups (Subcontract Manager, Execution Leads, Director, etc.); drive closure of action items and follow up on “pop up” CAM tasks.
• Risk & Opportunity Management – Identify, document, and track contract risks using Active Risk Management; develop mitigation plans and monitor effectiveness; support creation and approval of Non Production Requests (NPRs).
• Tool & Data Stewardship – Utilize VAR, APTS BOE, ADAR Blocks, Empower, IWTA, and Microsoft Project for data capture and analysis; maintain project artifacts in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Financial & Procurement Oversight – Review and approve supplier/sub invoices and change orders; ensure compliance with financial policies and contract terms.
• Continuous Improvement – Recommend process enhancements for CAM activities; mentor junior team members and promote a high performance culture.

Basic Qualifications:
• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience – Minimum 5 years of CAM experience on software intensive, classified or government sensitive programs; proven track record managing cost, schedule, and risk for large, multi disciplinary projects; hands on experience with Earned Value Management and Basis of Estimate generation.
• Certifications – CAM certification (mandatory); PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Technical Skills – Proficiency with VAR, APTS BOE, ADAR Blocks, Empower, IWTA, Microsoft Project; familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint; strong MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) and data analysis capabilities.
• Clearance – U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Government Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
• Core Competencies – Excellent verbal and written communication; self starter capable of driving results with minimal supervision; strong analytical mindset with attention to detail; ability to work collaboratively across functional boundaries and with external partners.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Agile Account Management and Scrum/Kanban tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Prior work on Aero ADP or similar advanced development programs.
• Knowledge of Non Production Request (NPR) processes and invoice approval workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership in risk & opportunity management and cultural change initiatives.
• Familiarity with classified program requirements.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
