Who You Are

You'll perform as a Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain Procurement Engineer, Staff.

What You Will Be Doing

This is a Technical Subcontract Management (TSM) field support position. The TSM will be responsible for providing onsite support at multiple Lockheed Martin (LM) major system and airframe suppliers. Approximately 90% of the TSMs time will be spent onsite at a LM supplier facility.
A TSM is a member of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team that LM Aeronautics uses to minimize disruptions to the supply chain by providing “in the field” oversight of supplier execution. As a project manager overseeing multiple LM Suppliers, daily activities will include: working with supplier personnel to prioritize components through manufacturing, validating the status of the deliverable parts and providing detailed status to LM procurement, preparing plans to reduce/prevent shortages, identifying risks in the supply chain, and developing risk mitigation plans to minimize the potential impact to LM.

Responsibilities will include the following:
Coordinates with Sourcing, Quality, Operations, Design Engineering, the Supply Base and Industry experts to facilitate the design, production, test and qualification of aerospace and defense products. Analyzes technical data, designs, preliminary specifications, manufacturing limitations, supplier facilities, and parts/equipment availability. Investigates and recommends potential suppliers based on assessments of response to specifications, costs, inspection of facilities, and historical performance. Facilitate technical trade-offs and standardization that may lead to more economical procurement. Recommends design changes to mitigate production issues. Leads teams of Supplier and internal staff in collaboratively solving problems in Producibility, Quality, Inspection, Cost, Mistake-Proofing, Test, Reliability and Affordability.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of professional experience, a Master's Degree with 7 years of professional experience or 11 years of professional Supply Chain experience or in a related field

• Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), or Department of Defense (DOD) contracts

• Experience analyzing production requirements in an SAP procurement system

• Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP), (ERP), (MRP) or similar

• Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies

• Build to Print experience / Drawing requirements interpretation

• Experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager or possess a Project Management Certification (PMP)

• Advanced experience of how to capture, aggregate, analyze, and present data that effectively
demonstrates supplier performance, and then identifying the potential risks and opportunities, to for a positive outcome

• Risk Management and development of mitigation plans with Suppliers, Supplier Performance Teams, and Internal Customers

• Integration with Supply Chain Management, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Business Operations, and others

• Formal team lead or leadership experience

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $114,700 - $198,720. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
