Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Small UAS (sUAV) portfolio. This role goes beyond traditional program management — it is about building structure, instilling accountability, and driving integration across multiple sites, programs, and customer engagements. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior leadership, helping to define what success looks like for the portfolio while ensuring execution discipline and financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
• Portfolio Strategy – Partner with leadership to define long-term objectives for capture, producibility, and technology roadmaps.
• P&L Management – Own portfolio-level Profit & Loss accountability, including cost performance, margin management, and long-term financial planning.
• Program Execution – Manage multiple contracts across classification levels and international boundaries, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance are delivered.
• Customer Relationships – Build and maintain strong, transparent relationships with customers; serve as a trusted voice of the customer internally and externally.
• Accountability & Metrics – Stand up and manage portfolio rhythm (cadence, metrics, reporting) to drive transparency, accountability, and predictability.
• Risk & Opportunity Management – Identify risks early, build mitigation strategies, and drive recovery plans when needed.
• Talent & Team Development – Lead and mentor cross-functional program managers and engineers; build technical depth and execution rigor across the team.
• Capture & Growth – Support capture strategy and implementation across the portfolio, aligning customer needs with Lockheed Martin’s Family of Systems vision.
• Integration & Innovation – Leverage technical staff and external partners to accelerate portfolio success, adopting agile methods and innovative approaches.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree or higher from an accredited university
Program/project management experience
Experience leading cross disciplinary teams
Experience working multiple high-priority tasks in parallel with minimal direction
Experience developing customer relationships
Familiarity with Agile Development methodologies and management processes
Demonstrated career progression in roles of increasing responsibilities
Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Masters Degree or higher
Experience working and managing teams across Business Area’s
Experience communicating directly with executive leadership
A strong understanding of the FMS and Offset process
A strong understanding of the Corporate IRAD process
Experience working with foreign Lockheed Martin entities
Experience in SUAS new product development
Experience with IRAD/CRAD/OTA captures
Strong written/verbal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong presentation skills
Active Top Secret Clearance
Experience working with suppliers/subcontractors
Experience developing statements of work and schedule integration
Experience developing and implementing commercial business model
Direct experience working directly with customers to shape requirements/programs
Working knowledge of the government acquisition products
Understanding of Six Sigma Methodologies
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
